American Caviar is a great option for you Caviar lover's several reasons. It has a great taste that rivals that of the Russian and other imported styles. It's cheaper. American Caviar costs about half as much as some imported Caviars. Its eco-friendly and it caught right here in America too. You don't pay the imported tax or handling fees, not to mention the increased sticker price due to limited fishing opportunities abroad. For the price and the quality, it's hard to go wrong with American Caviar. The world's stereotype of American's might be cheap, and we are, but American Caviar is one instance where it's okay to be "Cheap".

A growing trend with American Caviar is the increasing popularity of Salme Caviar. It's a great alternative to the uber expensive Beluga Caviar and adds a nice touch at the dinner table with it's striking orange appearance. If you love salmon, you'll love this version of American Caviar. The Russians (whom we import our "expensive" thus "best" Caviar from), have even adopted the American Caviar as a delicacy used in upscale diners and restaurants as breakfast dish. The serve this American Caviar on pancakes!
Not only does American Caviar look great paired with other colors and flavors of Caviar, it stands out from the rest. Not all American Caviar comes from Salmon. There are very Paddlefish Caviar options and other colorful Caviar options as well, that all fall under American Caviar.

I'm not exactly sure how America is viewed worldwide, though I know it's not all bad. Being from the southern part of the United States, I've caught some flack for being a 'redneck' or 'hillbilly. American Caviar is not typically found in most restaurants through the south. That is, in everyday dining experiences. Caviar is available throughout the America, even the south. However, some local terms for American Caviar have drawn some attention. Also known as 'poor man's caviar', food dishes that have nothing to do with fish eggs whatsoever have adopted the term anyways.
Hope this doesn't fuel the negative stereotypes of Texans, but here are some examples of what they call American Caviar in the Lone Star State. .Cowboy Caviar (Corn & Black Bean Salsa) and Texas Caviar (Jalepeno Stuffed Olives).
